Rob is a record producer, a recording artist, a composer/songwriter, a musician (piano/keyboards/synthesizers, drums/percussion, guitars), a recording engineer, a mix engineer, and a studio owner. In 2003 Rob founded Market Street Sound, downtown Pittsburgh's largest and most successful audio-post facility, where he's produced, recorded and mixed many recording artists, composed music for advertising and film, and recorded and mixed hundreds, if not thousands, of TV, Radio, and Web commercials. Recording artists he's worked with include David Werner, Bob Corbin, Billy Idol, John Waite, Rachel Z, Tarkan, Neil Dorfsman, Gary Katz, Syleena Johnson, Mary Fahl, Reb Beach, Michael McGlone, Carla Bianco, Marc Copely, PovertyNeck Hillbillies, Psychotica, Bloody Chicklets, Skell, and Vanessa Campagna. National post-production clients have included Coca Cola, Dicks Sporting Goods, Cub Cadet, Snickers, Snausages, Delmonte, Heinz, Harry and David, PNC, UPMC, Stanley Steemer, Highmark, NGK, Airborne, Art Institutes, and countless others big and small.


In 2017 Rob tranformed Market Street Sound into Contagious Music.
 
Detroit born and Cleveland/Pittsburgh raised, Rob began piano studies at the Cleveland Institute at the young age of four. Moving to Pittsburgh he played in local rock bands as a drummer and keyboardist. Later, he joined a few touring bands based in Florida. Returning to Pittsburgh he began studio work exclusively which took him eventually to Manhattan, NY. After finding success in the record business Rob returned to Pittsburgh to specialize in post-production music and sound design for television, radio, film, and digital. Rob has received many industry awards for both composition/songwriting and sound-design. He has also served as a board member of several organizations including The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, The Pittsburgh Technology Council, and a past-president of the Pittsburgh Advertising Federation.
